My mom just called and Dad is bleeding rectally, which means that something in the surgery went wrong. (I don't know, maybe he was clenching his entire body because HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY PAINKILLERS AFTER SURGERY and the tense muscles ripped something.) If it doesn’t stop, they're going to have to go back in and hopefully give him morphine this time. I have an author event that I have to speak at in Carrollwood Day School in Tampa tomorrow, so I'm gauging the situation carefully.
